Theme: "MOVING PHYSIOTHERAPY FORWARD IN AFRICA" Sub-Themes: "Burden of disabling diseases" and "Physiotherapy in occupational health"

The Ghana Association of Physiotherapists will be hosting the 8th WCPT Africa regional congress and meeting in Accra, Ghana from the 19th to the 23rd of July 2010.

The theme of the congress is: ‘Moving Physiotherapy forward in Africa', in line with the mother body congress theme.

The sub-themes are:
- Burden of disabling diseases
- Physiotherapy in occupational health

The preliminary program is as follows:
19 July 2010: Pre-congress workshop
20 July 2010: Regional meeting and congress opening
21 - 23 July 2010: 8TH WCPT Africa Congress
